NATURE ADVENTURERS: Ellanor C Lawrence Trail
It's the first day of spring!! Let's get out and celebrate!
Where we are meeting: Pavilion at Walney Pond (Ellanor C Lawrence Park). Learn more about the park here:

Time: We will leave for the trail around 10:30 AM.
What we will be doing:
*Take a walk around the pond and look for signs of spring.
*Depending on the weather, we'll hang out by the stream for a little bit. (about 15 mins)
*Walk the trail that ends up at the Visitor's Center looking for more signs of spring.
*Have lunch/snack. (about 30-40 mins)
*Head back to the pavilion .
**This is a mixed trail with a paved trail around the pond and a more uneven, dirt trail to the Visitor's Center.
Who: All ages
What to bring: You may want to bring water, snacks/lunch, shoes and clothing that you don’t mind getting wet or muddy. Feel free to bring magnifying glasses, nature journals, field guides, nets, buckets, etc.
NOTE: Bathrooms and a water fountain are available in the Visitor's Center.
