3rd Monday of each month, 1-3 PM @ Bull Run Library
Age Group: Grades 2nd – 8th. Younger siblings can watch. Older students can participate in Debate Club in separate area.
The purpose of this club is to help students in 2nd grade through middle school gain confidence in public speaking in a fun, supportive environment while making new friends. Students will participate in an icebreaker activity and have the opportunity to give a short 2–5 minute presentation. Students may bring slides, demos, or their own laptop with an HDMI connection, or email presentation files to Julie / Sandy in advance ([email protected] / [email protected]).
Sept. Meeting--
Ice-breaker: Students will work in pairs and introduce their You-Tube channel
Monthly Topic: Summer Fun / Nature in Summer / Self-selected topic
After the presentations, students are welcome to stay for board games and chess with their peers.
