Additional Information
Do you know that World Art Day is the birthday of Leonardo Da Vinci? He was born on April 15, 1452 and is one of the world’s most famous artist, engineer, sculptor, and architect! We will be celebrating a day late, but that's alright!
The students will get to try their hands at:
*Doodling with a purpose
*Redrawing a nature picture
*Creating their own Mona Lisa using Torn Paper Art *Painting their own masterpiece on a mini canvas and easel
*and more!
We will set up our projects as an Art Gallery about a half hour before the event is over so the students can enjoy one another's works and so parent and siblings can come see as well.
The room will open for attendees no earlier than 1:15 PM to allow time for set-up. If you arrive before that time, please wait in the main part of the library.
What to bring:
*A snack to share and something for your student to drink.
*Clothes that can get paint on them.
*Scrap paper, wrapping paper, etc (if you have it)
