Math Kangaroo USA is a national nonprofit organization with a mission of helping students love math. For 25 years, Math Kangaroo has organized an annual international mathematical competition for thousands of students in grades 1-12. Math Kangaroo's focus is on improving students' math scores and teaching them new strategies for solving word and logic problems, helping them with critical thinking and gaining confidence in the classroom.
Faith Homeschool Connection will offer the Math Kangaroo Competition in the classroom on Thursday, March 21, 2024, at 10:00 am. We meet at Apostolic Faith Church, 14002 Glenkirk Road, Gainesville, VA 20155.
Homeschool students who reside in the state of Virginia can be registered to this center. Math Kangaroo Office will send a T-shirt and a small gift to the center manager for all registered students. The manager will distribute the items to students on the competition day.
The regular registration fee is $21 between Sep 15 and Dec 15. A late registration fee is $35 between Dec 16 and Dec 31. There is no registration cancelation or a refund offered after the registration. Math Kangaroo offers financial assistance to families in hardship; please contact [email protected] to ask for assistance and provide appropriate proof of hardship.
